City of Austin Rebates
Maybe you saw news on this recently. The City of Austin is offering rebates up to $180 for aeration, mulch and top dressing for your lawn. Yes these rebates are real and they are spectacular (well they're pretty good at least).

Organic Lawn Care
Lady Bug brand organic fertilizer is great for the yard. It won't burn your grass. So you can put it on any time of the year. It's great for spreading in your garden too. Now is a great time to spread a bag as everything is starting to grow. Most local nurseries carry it (not Home Depot or Lowes.... they don't seem to sell anything organic )
