Check out the 2014 loan limits for conventional, FHA and VA loans...
Conventional Loans

The conforming loan limit for conventional loans is holding steady for 2014 at $417,000 for a single family unit.

FHA Loans

FHA Loan limits have increased from $288,750 to $305,900 for single-family units (and $391,600 for duplexes)

VA Loans

In general, for veterans who qualify, VA loans can ebe zero-down payment and go up to the conforming loan limit of $417,000

A TOLL-FREE CONSUMER HOTLINE IS AVAILABLE AT 1-877-276-5550.  THE DEPARTMENT MAINTAINS A RECOVERY FUND TO MAKE PAYMENTS OF CERTAIN ACTUAL OUT-OF-POCKET DAMAGES SUSTAINED BY BORROWERS CAUSED BY ACTS OF LICENSED MORTGAGE COMPANY RESIDENTIAL MORTGAGE LOAN ORGINATORS. A WRITTEN APPLICATION FOR REIMBURSEMENT FROM THE RECOVERY FUND MUST BE FILED WITH AND INVESTIGATED BY THE DEPARTMENT PRIOR TO THE PAYMENT OF A CLAIM.
